Friends Groups to Massachusetts State Forests, Parks and Trails
Bay State Trail Riders Association (BSTRA) organized an Earth Day clean-up at Lake Dennison in appreciation for the many rides the group conducts in forests throughout the state, shown here riding in Douglas State Forest. BSTRA is a great example of a multi forest user group that is a true friend to forests! The Friends Network invites all friends groups of Massachusetts state forests and parks to network with us. Below is a list and the contact information of the friends groups identified by the Network. Below, you'll find a list of "Friends to Friends" groups, which includes environmental organizations, agencies and groups who recognize the value of state forests, parks and trails. We've also included lists of state lands in need of friends groups. if you'd like to join a group or start a friends group to a particular forest or park, we're here to help!
